The evidence tells us, disagreeable though it may feel, that all existing human races had a common ancestor. In fact, if you go back far enough, all species on planet Earth, plants and fungi included, share a common ancestor with us.

The evidence also tells us -- and this should give us a more agreeable feeling -- that the long-term trend is racial divergence, the races becoming more and more different over time. The definition of evil, in my view, is trying to fight or counteract this long-term evolutionary trend.
