Without a nym I would surely not be able to really express everything I think for fear of being cancelled or denounced, so we are far from freedom of expression and therefore from freedom.

I remember the guy called Hodlonaut, who was de-anonymized and dragged into a lawsuit with Craig Wright. Nyms are not a substitute for proper opsec.
