I keep repeating this about a shit ton of people, like Saylor, RFK, Bukele... "Just because they understand BTC, doesn't mean they understand anything else"

nah, Saylor is a full blown bitcoin maximalist. he just coats it a little by saying it will complement the dollar because he is still a public figure. he’s betting his whole company (30 years of reputation) on that thing.
