US wrote to the UK: "Let's not do it. It would cause more harm than good for us. People, knowing you can read it, will relocate conversations elsewhere or encrypt them before sending them and we will not be able to continue reading them. Not to mention what it would do to the Apple sells. Just requests what data you want and we will provided for you. We are the Five Eyes after all, no?" 🤝
