Good question. I viewed the video, but without additional details, it’s hard to understand the situation fully. The initial kidnapping call involved law enforcement it appears. Kidnapping is distinct from human trafficking, though it can escalate into it. In the US, human trafficking involves force, fraud, or coercion for labor or sex exploitation. I hope the family receives more clarity soon.

I've been following the story. FWIW she's a US citizen. She's now accused of "assaulting" an ICE officer, because apparently she held out her hand (?) while the goon was running someone down.

She was just someone going to work, being dropped off by her family.
