This Indian Independence Day I can’t help but think the pivotal role Tech played.

Highly doubt if any of the major events of the last 300 years (French, Russian & American revolutions for ex) would have been possible w/o the printing press.

Now we live in an age where ppl are walking around with supercomputers in their pockets.

An age where cryptography gives enormous power at the individual level.

What this does wrt Individual Freedoms should be interesting.
