It is basic logic and stats.
Women are more likely to ditch chumps than decent guys. That means that the proportion of chumps a woman meets when looking doesn't reflect the rate of chump in the broader male population. Add in cheaters, chumps who piss off 2 woman at once, and it really does look grim as a single.
