The problem with iPhones is that you don't actually own the device. You are merely the user. Apple and your government decide how you get to use it.

Right. Thanks, I did not realize. They are sadly implementing the same policies and tracking across their devices.

The worse part is that most of the Apple experience is very geoblocked. Finance apps only available in the US or EU. Certain bitcoin apps only available in certain stores.

All to try to follow some strange regulatory regimes around the world

Yes, and yet, if users facing those annoyances and very familiar with the issues, like yourself, still have good reasons to stick to Apple, there is no hope.. :)
