Appeal to incredulity is what appears to be largely affecting people lately:
"The appeal to incredulity is a fallacious argument that asserts that a proposition must be false because it contradicts one’s personal expectations or beliefs, or is difficult to imagine. This type of argument is often used to discredit or undermine a claim, rather than providing a valid counterargument."
Begging the Question is another one politicians seem particularly fond of:
"How can America afford 2 proxy wars with record deficits?"
"Because we're America."
