I’ve been spending quite a bit of time in Global these days welcoming plebs (I’m filtering my experience by exclusively using welcome.nostr.wine).

I have noticed so many voices from the Global South there escaping from Twitter’s disaster.

You need to understand the massive proportions of the rug pull Elon Musk did to them.

Most people in the Global South can’t afford paying several dollars to keep having the same access and global reach they use to have on Twitter.

You could say that Elon has taken away the voice of billions of people and now he’s rate-limiting what they can see.
