I'll be totally honest. I'm surprised Apple approved clients with zaps to begin with. It's their M.O. to ban anything that bypasses their app store policy of charging 30% of all money going through every iPhone.

I also would be very surprised if Google didn't follow suit.

I use both Android and iOS, and iOS would have a lot more potential if you could install apps from other sources, esp on iPads. I have seen rumours floating around for a while and I reckon the EU, state laws, etc will force their hand soon enough.
