If you see me sitting on my porch playing guitar, I’m out there because I want to play my guitar on my porch. It didn’t cost me anything to sit down and play. It was a nice day, I have a porch, and I enjoy playing guitar.

If you decide to stop and hang out and sing along to Old Man or Norwegian Wood or whatever, I hope you enjoy it. I will, since I don’t sing.

If you toss me a buck because you enjoyed hanging out for a few minutes and enjoyed the songs, go for it.

Don’t give me a bunch of grief because I don’t pay you for walking up to me and singing.
