Immediately following the 4 p.m. mass at the Holy Rosary Parish, close to a hundred people joined the “Prayer Rally Against Corruption: Human Chain at the Beach” and unity walk, all dressed in white to signify a peaceful, non-partisan and non-political demonstration.

Placards were first laid at the altar, allowing participants to choose the message they wished to carry. The silent procession then made its way to the White Beach grotto known as Willy’s Rock, where they formed a human chain and chants rang out: “Jail the corrupt! I-kulong na yan, mga kurakot!”

Chief of Police of Malay MPS, PLtCol. Alain Terence Licdan told Boracay Sun News, “The gathering was calm and orderly, with only locals participating. There were no signs of radicals or threats.” 🇵🇭💪
