Thanks a lot for the encouragement.

This is definitely the beginning of a journey. In the future I would like to migrate to a hardened security system with max anonymity. Hence interest in Tails Linux.

For now, my plan is to fully experience what Umbrel has to offer including Electrum server and Sparrow Wallet - this will fit nicely with my SeedSigner. I will also set up a lottery miner - NerdMiner. So, a lot of work ahead.

Will follow your progress closely - keep us posted.

Ha, oh boy. NerdMiner is a cool toy with a beautiful UI. Just keep in mind that:

S9: ~13,500,000,000,000 hashes / sec (~$100)

NerdMiner: 55,000 hashes / sec (~$20 in parts)

If you feel yourself tempted to build a second Nerdminer... don't!

Where is best place to buy S9s?

Started with NerdMiner project before I know anything about it. More than sure that S9 will be the next logical step. Need to find a decent suplier in EU and tinker with it - will have time soon.

S9 is great to learn on. But for US power, a Loki board to run a single S19 hashboard at 110V is starting to make more sense.

Not sure about best option for EU that already has 220V.
