It was very frightening how many seemingly "normal people" revealed that they had no integrity or morals compass what so ever, and turned into chilling ice cold to the bone authoritarian agents of the state.

I've still seen too few accounts of people internalising and apologising about their insane behavior during the pandemic.

A close friend of mine that I've known since childhood turned out to be one of those monsters. She said the unvaccinated were committing a genocide and should be forcefully vaxxed or put into camps. I couldn't believe my ears when I first heard her say it

All rules thrown out the window because of a virus with a fatality rate of 0.02%. But even that I couldn't get into people's minds. They were so utterly brainwashed by the statist fearmongering.

COVID aside, is there a mortality rate, R0, contagious time period while asymptomatic, or other situation where those crazy reactions become the right answer?
