I never trust my no-coiner friends and family asking me about bitcoin in a bull market. My response these days is to tell them not to buy bitcoin until they understand what it is they are buying.

Now if I get questions in a bear market it's another story.... but that has happened exactly zero times 🤣

He's bought a few times since last fall. I've been talking to him about DCAing for a couple years. Next up, Nostr 🥹

My standard bull market nocoiner asks me how they can get some bitcoin speech.

"I will tell you how to buy so that you don't get scammed, I know you are going to buy either way and at least this way you you get some real bitcoin instead of scammed.

First you have to acknowledge that this is a much riskier short term buy than if you had bought when I told you to buy instead of when the news told you to buy.

And I'm reminding you that I told you to buy back when the price was $price and you would now be $multiple on your investment if you had listened to me."

I also use a slight variation of that last line for "it has been two weeks and I'm not rich yet" type follow up messages.

I choose this route instead of go away because of the scam risk. Better they have some sats for their dollars and be slightly underwater than risk no sats for their dollars.
