I finally made the move from iOS and migrated back to GrapheneOS, so I had to start using Primal or Amathist and I can't say it has been easy. Half of the time nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg does not let me upload images - even when I change storage providers. nostr:npub1nz64zngcqm8vj8nhrdkcjpfwn2rcaqysnxec88tqfclp5afrpglsqm0w5y does not let me tag anyone unless I paste their npub and on top of that it's some how posting multipules of the same image.

I will say there are features I like in Amathist (privacy) and there are features I like in Primal, but I am need of nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 to get on board with the Android app because the struggles are real.

#AskNostr Have any of you plebs experienced similar issues? Is ther a better app I sould try?

I made the switch from iOS to Graphene 4 years ago. I ran both devices in parallel until I was using Graphene for 80% of the stuff.

I've never used primal with this npub because it doesn't support Amber.

I'm a die hard unapologetic Amethyst supporter.

I've experienced the double image post when I've accidentally double tapped the upload button. It inserts the URL twice, which is easy enough to remove.

I have no issues tagging people by putting the @ symbol & then typing some of their handle. It will actually search their bio as well & display people you're following first.

Make sure you've updated to the latest version. Definitely worth installing zapstore & using it rather than FDroid. It's also great for discovering apps.
