A few years ago, when my vision was low and my morale lower, a friend took me into the woods. I have always loved spending time wandering but had lost the confidence to explore on my own. He spent all day flagging the trail by tying a flag and having me stand by it. He would then walk forward 10-20 feet until I could just see the next flag placement. We repeated this all day until the entire trail was aggressively flagged. Then, he had me guide us out of the woods - reflagging any missteps. I revisit this trail regularly and am full of gratitude for the independence and confidence he gave back to me.

Thanks friend - you are appreciated. 💜

That's a lot of work, but gosh, it makes a huge difference for others.

That’s a good friend!

Sounds like low time preference paying off. Friends that make you stronger are friends for life
