There are many ways to deal with this. Mute, friends filter plus additional filtering. Do you have the latest damus App Store version?
I can’t spedn my entire nostr life hitting the mute on each spam mention or message there has to be a way the client can mitigate this! #Nostur works some times until it doesn’t! Damus has the friends button on notifications but i am yet to follow frens (as if i have any here yet)
Seems the only way is to follow people and toggle the button that means ill still miss some new notifications from conversations from new npubs 🤦♂️
yeah web of trust isn't perfect, either is only filtering by paid relays
