In my very strong opinion, one would do well to begin to grok Mark Passio's research. His work and my continued effort to know it Awakened me. Freedom can only manifest when the individual begins thier journey to Truth.
I think that quote is about the inflation Rome experienced under Nero. I'm biased because of the footnotes in the Catholic bible. I know other denominations have different interpretations.

I think this is right. But also, I usually try to point out that multiple interpretations can be correct, and even a single event can be both historical and symbolic. I've never heard a Christian respond positively to that. If people want the mark to be a chip, or our phones, it can be, while also being our actions, while also being the debased coinage of the Romans. But none of the physical versions could happen without the internal mark, so your interpretation seems most correct to me.
Yea fully agree. In the Bible, most things have a spiritual and a physical aspect to it. My point was, most have already taken The Mark and dont even know it. They are focused on a chip, or whatever, meanwhile, they are horrible people doing Satan's bidding, often under the guise of their religion
