Listen... everything else they can take remotely or by just holding me down while someone takes it away. With this, they need us to cooperate. They need EVERYONE TO COOPERATE. How much harder and more expensive is that?

Bitcoin is a technology that changes the balance of power. Not all outcomes are gonna be 100% wonderful and it depends on how crazy the state is. Compare it to the alternatives, and it wins hands down.

insanely dirt cheap. not only is bitcoin fully transparent but people assume it isn't. "just opsec" isn't going to cut it as the entire consensus is wide open and unfalsefiable. only a tech illiterate thinks it's hard to tax and regulate bitcoin.

fun fact, ring sigs and stealth addresses using a view key is the nicest way to be taxed in coin world because only the auditors get the view keys, no one else. the fact that monero maligned this use case only proves they are the criminal coin.
