calling bitcoin permissionless was a mistake

people think it means the authorities haven’t told us we can’t do it, so that means it’s ok

Of all social media networks I would guess nostr has the highest GDP/capita by some huge margin. And that’s without any ad revenue or corporate monetisation

Exactly. This is why Bitcoin is a public blockchain - as well as many others. So Bitcoin is not the only one, and this is bad news for bitcoin-only fans

Bitcoin has other attributes that make it unique.
