Not to be the ackchyually guy, BUT, what you would really want is whatever client you are using to allow upload for pictures to host in their data storage. Nostr’s just the protocol.

I actually think JB55 is working on this for Damus.

In the future, it could be that each client winds up with its own relay and picture upload server and then it will be up to then how they monetize that.

Images and other blobs very well match the ''other stuff' part of nostr. Right? If we have can have Ordinals on bitcoin these nothing wrong about having images on nostr
