I just feel kinda sick every time our son references TikTok videos. Obviously school kids talk and share etc. but it ain’t coming from me
My children do the same. It's everywhere and we can't stop it from being part of their daily life. I only hope I can transfer good values to them so that they learn to manage all the bad things that come with this type of social networks.
Definitely agree with this! I was never a big user of TikTok and never posted anything myself but stopped using it about a year ago. While it could sometimes be quite entertaining, I was finding the algorithm recommendations to be very negative. #nostr is a much more positive & productive place!
TikTok is literally Chinese Spyware and data harvesting. Couldn't pay me enough to have that garbage on my phone.
