So after some confusion on Android/Amethyst and Zaps I think I got to the bottom of it and maybe others are wondering the same so I'll explain what I believe is accurate:

Zap sends work (when you click the LN bolt icon) if you are able to load an app that automatically shows the amount and you can send it. For me it is always 1000 sats in Amethyst and Bluewallet works consistently, Muun sometimes, WoS works. So, this works basically out of the box and it doesn't matter what is in your profile for LN Address.

The LN address in your profile is for receiving Zaps. I had my profile field completely blank and sending zaps worked exactly the same.

Keep in mind your association to a wallet after clicking the LN bolt icon on your Android device may be automatically going to a certain app (if you already selected use always vs just once).

One I thing I have not figured out is if you do Zap someone. I sometimes but rarely see it under the zaps section on their profile. I assumed it is probably just not working, but sometimes I do see it.
