Which means that it all stays only to my purview? Or?!
Should stay in the app on your phone, but I can't say for sure. Don't give the keyboard network permissions.

Hmm, not sure actually how to ensure I am not giving it network permission.
Hold app icon -> app info-> Permissions -> Network -> Don't allow
Settings -> Apps -> (app name) -> Permissions
Make sure network is not selected
