I have some experience making tinctures. I'll be making some dandelion tincture in the next week or so :) I will use 80 proof vodka and fresh plant material.
Are you using one part in particular or whole plant? What amount of time does sit, room temp?

I am using leaves and roots. I will mince the roots to expose more of the tough material to alcohol. Room temp, 6-8 weeks (longer won't hurt anything).
Last one, for now. How do you store it?
Glass jars, dark cupboard. Decant into dark bottles with droppers as needed.
