There’s Bitcoin to be made off the trades of shitcoins financial investments will still be a thing living a bitcoin standard lifestyle… IMHO

If not, who cares. They may win or lose but what they do in their own bedroom is up to them.
Now pushing on others is a different level and they deserve public pain. IMO.
Posting on DedBird about trades, but never pushing. Probably to "stack more corn," but that's not a winning strategy for most.

But if you really fancy yourself a bitcoiner and you trade shitcoins (or bitcoin), you should at least feel somewhat bad about it. Have some fucking morals!

That’s right. I feel like due to the nature of zaps existing and early nostr culture being so bitcoin-centric, and people like nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s saying very early and firmly that damus will always be bitcoin only, it makes people hide their shitcoiny tendencies more than they might elsewhere.
But what are we gonna do, spend tons of time and effort to hunt them down and call them out? Wouldn’t be very productive imo. Just unfollow or maybe even mute shitcoiners as they reveal themselves on their own accord and chill. Seems the best way to me.
Honestly I would love to get a bunch of sats from trading shitcoins or stocks (which are also shitcoins) but at the end of the day the main reason i don’t, even above ethics, is bc i’m retarded and would just lose sats overall. Some people manage to make it work somehow.
What’s REALLY unforgiveable imo is shilling them. I’m talking O-faced youtuber types with reference links and airdrops out the wazoo. They can go fuck themselves bigly
If you were good at something that made you money, I imagine it would be hard to resist the temptation, regardless of its purity.
