It is not a secret that age verification is not about protecting children. UK showed us what is really about. Let’s not make it happen in EU. Even though the EU will implement it using an app with zero proof knowledge for the requesting site does not mean it’s bidirectional.

The app itself, even though is open source, is just a reference for every country to implement however they like. That doesn’t mean it won’t collect data about you - the sites you visit, the email address or something else. It only means that the requesting site won’t know who you are.

And let’s not forget about chat control they are trying to force into people. It’s still to be determined. Let’s hope it won’t happen and the remaining countries will oppose.
