nos.lol is run by nostr:npub1nlk894teh248w2heuu0x8z6jjg2hyxkwdc8cxgrjtm9lnamlskcsghjm9c (a generous nostr OG). It has nothing to do with nos.social, a client nostr:npub1wmr34t36fy03m8hvgl96zl3znndyzyaqhwmwdtshwmtkg03fetaqhjg240 (a legend) and a team work on and their associated relay is relay.nos.social.

THANKS MAZIN!! YOU ARE A LEGEND πŸ«‚

If @rabble is such a legend maybe he can explain to me why I’m being unfairly slimed as an intolerant hate monger by his little bot.

Rabble is a legend. I can't wait for him to onboard hundreds of thousands of people by turning causes.com into a Nostr client. Thats going to be incredible for Nostr growth! Anyways, one thing that's cool about Nostr is that it allows for a wide range of social experiences all built on the same protocol. Not all apps will be the same, because not all humans are the same.

That bot helps build a specific social experience for users that want to use nostr:nprofile1qqsq7gkqd6kpqqngfm7vdr6ks4qwsdpdzcya2z9u6scjcquwvx203dspr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vp39eukz6mfdphkumn99e3k7mgpremhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vpj9ejx7unpveskxar0wfujummjvuq3gamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k78ft6q5. Nos won't be for everyone, but it doesn't have to be either. We have plenty of choices here.

I believe the bot flagged me once. I was pissed at first and then I realized I don't care all that much because I don't use nos.

That’s your right not to care. I care though. Free speech is extremely important to me.

You still have free speech though.

And I always will Derek. No matter what commie tries to bastardize that speech.

What is a commIE?

He has talked about the why many of times over the past year I have been here. He is building tools that Nostr users can customize their own experience. Nos is not censoring you on Nostr, we can still see you. The tool is for those who want to create a more filtered experience. It has nothing to do with you personally.

It seems to me the tool is malicious by design.

fair enough. if nostr is going to be an actual protocol where each user can govern themselves, not using the tool is an option.
