This was taken on Jan 25th 2020 during a snowshoe hike at the Mont Pioui and Mont du Lac des Cygnes in Charlevoix, Québec, Canada.

It’s a 11km hike in one on the most beautiful area of the province. This lake is frozen solid and you could cross it to get to the mountains but the trail takes you all around through some rocky areas overlooking the valley, where the snow is wiped by the winds.

It’s nice to have real winters and real summers. Every season brings something interesting to look forward to year after year.
