I don't like that he got jail time, but it is possible that what he did is immoral
you should be able to do whatever the fuck you want so long as it does not physically hurt another person or animal or have a huge negative affect on the environment.
Genetic manipulation is always wrong. Seriously wrong.
Frankly he should be put in prison for life.

Man has been selectively breeding livestock and plants for millennia
Selective breeding is quite different from genetic manipulation...and yet even with selective breeding, man is not smart enough to understand the consequences of such activity.

Sheep breeder guy wasn't using CRISPR, he just bred large sheep. Now he's in jail.

He "clone(ed) endangered mountain sheep embryos and use them to breed a hybrid species"
That is not selective breeding (where you breed a poodle and a labrador)--that's genetic manipulation.
Since they got him on the endangered species trafficking laws.....
What he should have done is export his sheep and bred them overseas. Then imported the hybrids.
Feels like entrepreneurship is a dangerous game for plebs.
