Thank you for pushing hard on the Alby hub/start9 stuff recently. I just set it up and it was not too difficult. You can get it done with a bit of sweat and elbow grease.
I just hope the backups work, since at no point was I made to write down a seed phrase.

If you went with CLN than you are going to want to back up your HSM secret. That would be the equivalent of your bip39 words.
I used LND because that's what's supported by Alby Hub.
For whatever reason the boost amount doesn't show in fountain, but the sats left my wallet.
