With the NewPipe app, you need to subscribe to everyone and everything you're interested in. It won't use a Watch History algorithm like YouTube to determine what to suggest in your feed. And that's a good thing, because your viewing is anonymous and unsurveiled.

Don't forget to take notice you can download any video. I do this when I anticipate watching in a no-phone-signal, no WiFi area. Or when I want to guard against the video being suddenly deleted from the platform. I typically delete the video off my phone later after I'm done with it.

Downloading is a paid-for YouTube Premium feature, but it's free on NewPipe. Like the old Showbox app (if you remember that), NewPipe will become your new, most valuable app in your phone's library.

Been using NewPipe.net as a YouTube substitute for a bit now and I'm quiet enjoying it! 🥳🎦

1) No ads, just pure video loading 🎥

2) Easy dials to speeden the video up and it remembers the same for all videos you play after 🎛️

3) It continues to play Audio even when I minimize it and open something on my phone browser 🔊

4) Ability to download videos, which will be helpful for the work we do here at Panah 🔽

5) No history = no surveillance, every time you open it, it just opens to globally popular video 🕵️‍♀️

6) Moved the YT app shortcut into a folder of lesser-used apps, replaced it with NewPipe and now its become my default

7) It just looks like the below screenshot all the time, doesn't remember and suggest, which is nice to view your videos privately
