I feel that. I think, as Bitcoin adoption grows, the maxi voices will continue to play an important role in keeping the narrative “honorable”, for lack of a better word.

Delivery could use some work, as the “toxic” meme is not entirely flattering, but my guess is that much of that is due to the nature of online spaces like Twitter.

As communities like nostr grow (and thus help to create new bitcoiners/Bitcoin users), there’s an opportunity for a “gentle but firm” kind of maximalist-rooted onboarding.

More like good parenting, less like a “bullying older sibling who cares”
