I really want to move there
All the stuff going on recently has helped me begin to understand all the people who emigrated to the U.S. throughout the decades just for the promise of a better life. From time to time I think about what doing that actually entailed. It basically meant leaving everything and everyone you ever knew behind. If you were successful you could help bring your family over later.
I try to imagine myself doing that, and I am honestly not sure I would have the courage to do that.
What IS it like to move there? Has anyone documented their experience??
