Unless you're making shakshuka, no.

sounds good - adding egg, butter, cheese any kind of recipe will add XTRA taste - nothing italian about it.

i have adding Parmesan cheese on top any type of dish (not just pizza or burger) chicken lamb beef with some form bread- lately - TASTE is fucking good

Yeah, this is a hybrid dish. Not quite Shakshuka, not quite Italian style, somewhere in the middle. Actually, a guy from Indiana showed me this and said his grandma always poached eggs in her sauce for some extra protein and filler. I'm a big fan.
