I find it all very strange. I read a huge post this morning about how Nostr is shit because it's not better than all these other things (all of those things being captured and centralised).
I'm convinced 99.9% people in the western world have zero knowledge of what freedom is or means let alone its true value.
Either we step up or it's dystopia for decades to come.

if we (Argentina) solve our stupid shitty laws on investments, capital controls and labour markets I can see a third massive migration from Europe to here due to this wave of gradual yet increasingly bigger gvnmt overreach on private life.
If word gets out Nostr is the last place to see boobs without showing id we just might get the adoption people are hoping for!
Problem is that once you start looking at boobs on nostr you will eventually encounter kiddie porn. 🤮

The people who willingly gave up their guns probably won’t be saved from tyranny by nostr. Nice if they are, but probably gonna have to go through some physical pain 1st.
They will KYC your connection. VPN? Criminal! TOR? Arrest that criminal! I2P? To the gallows!! We are fucked.
