Raspberry pi’s are just not cutting it for speed.

Running python scripts to do chain analysis for fun.

Thinking of using a very old laptop to upgrade the ram and ssd and run a node there.

Want to move away from the most popular nodes and try #startos

Do it, nothing saying you have to be constrained to the limitations of an SBC.

One con of going the laptop route is making sure it stays plugged in and the degradation that causes to the battery

Awesome!. Battery is dead so its gonna be take out and it’ll run wired up to a backup battery.
