So now my five year old Pekin is hiding eggs for the first time. Unfortunately she hid three in the brush pile that will get burned. I moved them to the coop and she saw them. We’ll see what happens. Tomorrow I will keep her in the coop longer. #grownostr #ducks #ducksofnostr #Pekin

I find eggs all around my pond. Hopefully the quackheads we trained to go into a coop at night lay there. Probably not though. 😂
My experience has been that to get them in the habit of laying in the coop you have to delay their release until later in the morning. Every once-in-awhile I keep mine in an extra 20 minutes per day for about a week. It helps reprogram them.
