Yeah, my husband loves the short hair. Says it drops years and makes my eyes look bigger.
He seems okay with it being longer, so long as I usually wear it up or fluffy it up a bit and have some bangs. Nothing that hangs down in my face. That makes me look really old, fat, and tired.
Here's a different short haircut, that I don't like as much (No makeup, sorry.), fluffy style, and my attempt to recreate the short-hair effect with an updo.

In my opinion, the best hairstyle can be different according to everyone's face shape. Not all women have to have long hair to look beautiful. For example, short hairstyles really suit skinny women. You are not a skinny woman, but short hair really suits you.
