Maybe nostr:npub175nul9cvufswwsnpy99lvyhg7ad9nkccxhkhusznxfkr7e0zxthql9g6w0 ?

I'm looking for a hard wallet for long term cold storage. I'm just stacking and feel uncomfortable on an exchange.

BitBox02 (Bitcoin only edition) or Blockstream's Jade.

Depending on where you live, there are exchanges that let you withdraw directly to your wallet or Lightning address. Like Wave.Space or Pocket Bitcoin.

Pocket Bitcoin (exchange) is nicely integrated into BitBox02. You can easily buy and sell Bitcoin without ever leaving the BitBox interface.

Is it a Swiss company? How has the USB connection held up?

Some people recommend Coldcard, but since it ships from US(?) I don't want to deal with the fallout of that (customs etc.)

I have looked at Trezor too, but not sure if it's any good.

Yes it's Swiss. It's the safest HW around. Pocket Bitcoin is available at around 40 states.

Ok, I will test it out. Inshallah it will work out well.

I am still navigating the best way. I've been using Revolut for over a year and it's worked well, but not a place to store BTC.

Do you use anything for storing the seed phrase?

Also, are you still using coinos for lightning on nostr or have you switched?

I can't say as I've ever heard of them before. Coldcard kinda dominates the North American market... Will have to check them out.

There's a huge issue of importing stuff across the pond (tariffs on import, surveillance), so there's a strong preference for me to keep it regional.

I think the same goes both ways now 😭

Switzerland has a 30% tariff atm...

Fees seem a bit high (~2%) for a transfer using Pocket BTC?

AQUA (Easy to use) and Green wallet (Amazing security);

For cold storage: Blue Wallet (better on iOS) or Electrum (Android);

For hardware wallets: Jade/Jade Plus and BitBox02.

I'm not seeing the lightning feature on Aqua unfortunately
