90%? You’re pretty bad at math.
Even so, those posts were simply calling out that he’s not here to support you or Bitcoin, which is true. He supports whatever will make him fiat, like NFTs and memecoins….come on man. I think it’s your obsession with him that is pretty deranged.
The fact that you simp for a politician is pretty pathetic, honestly.
I'm not simping for any politicians.
I did not buy any Trump coins and I have zero intention to.
Why does it bother you so much? It has ZERO impact on bitcoin. In fact I'd argue it's a net positive for bitcoin as it will get people to create wallets and those funds will eventually flow to bitcoin.
Why do you think you get to decide what people buy with their money? Trump didn't force anyone to buy it.
Some bitcoiners are all for freedom until it goes against what they believe.
And you're calling me pathetic? Resorting to insults shows how insecure you are on this topic in general.
100%. No shit coin has ANY impact on #Bitcoin.
You will NOT stop the gamblers from gambling. I refuse to join the crowd, so just watch it all for entertainment. It does make me feel for those that get sucked into the entire crypto world. But this is cultural, you won't change these people - they will die stupid/broke. Again, as you say no one is forcing them.
(BTW - I believe gambling, especially state sponsored gambling, should be illegal - as it has been in EVERY moral culture throughout civilization - gambling is a symptom of a failing culture - and a fiat disease actually)
As we know - #Bitcoin fixes this eventually.
I agree excessive gambling is a bad choice. No way in hell it should be against the law for a free person to gamble.
Well, I agree - fewer laws the freer we are.
Where we draw the guard rails will ALWAYS be a debate.
What harms others? What systems take advantage of others? How/were do you draw the line?
To your point - if we have REAL money. Which should drive REAL education and literacy (it always has) 'maybe' we fix the culture of gambling without a law against it?
What if people truly understood the impact of gambling? Would we even have a problem requiring a law?
Probably don't need any laws in a truly educated, enlightened world. So, I agree with you - but it's very hard!
Taking it to extreme. Murder does not need to be illegal in a Bitcoin world. Why? Because everyone knows it's wrong, so it never happens. Of course excluding mentally ill - but even THEN - what if real money fixes that too?
See where this goes? Sounds utopian, but maybe we are getting ready to enter a world of enlightenment like humanity has never seen?
đź’Ż. Based take. Civilization is collapsing.
I don’t care what people buy, and yes people can buy whatever they want.
It bothers me because he is the President of the United States and he is selling NFTS and memecoins. There is a decorum that comes with leadership, and this isn’t it.
This is a net negative for the space. People are not going to take the time to learn about bitcoin because they are going to get rugged by the President and equate bitcoin to crypto.
You called me obsessed and deranged. “Resorting to insults shows how insecure you are on this topic in general.” Interesting how that works both ways.
Too be clear, I didn’t vote for either party. Neither are here to help us. This is will become abundantly clear to you eventually.
You say "they're going to get rugged by the President" as if it has already happened.
That's my entire issue with this stance.
Nothing has happened.
Most people who bought this meme coin are up quite substantially.
There has been no dump.
Your entire thesis is based on something that hasn't happened.
In the time you called me pathetic and asked if I thought you were deranged, bitcoin produced 8 new immutable blocks - and thats all that really matters.
My main point here is WHO GIVES A FUCK
My thesis is based on history. If history is any indicator, all celeb memecoins go to zero. If I am wrong and everyone gets rich, good for them. This is highly unlikely.
Yes, Bitcoin will continue to do what Bitcoin does. This isn’t really about Bitcoin, this is about presidential decorum and your liberal use of derangement and obsession.
Speaking of obsession, you post an awful lot about it for someone who doesn’t give a fuck.
You're right you've wasted enough of my time today.

I wish Trump would not have done a shitcoin. And I too, have no interest in buying something to try and make a profit off “the greater fool”. It’s just so predatory to me.
That said - I didn’t vote for Trump because I thought he wouldn’t make a bad move or two. I voted for him to try and bring some sanity to America. The far left has gone insane here.
Bitcoin fixes a lot, it does not fix everything. As unpleasant as it is, politicians have too much power. Therefore it’s in our best interest to try to get the best - or the least worst - in office. I do have an optimistic feeling of what good might be accomplished in the next 2 years. (And that’s all we have for sure. maybe the republicans hold the midterms - but maybe they don’t)
I’m old enough to know I could be quite disappointed, but I also know - the alternative was beyond the pale...
