I did a lot of Bible study the 11 days that I was stuck in jail.

First time in my adult life that I've taken a serious look at the Bible like that.

It hits different now. I'm ready to make some changes in my life.

All the best lessons are found in the first five books of the new testament. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts. I read that first, then the rest of the new testament, and then started reading the Old testament. If reading the ministry of Jesus and his disciples doesn't make you want to change your life I don't think anything else in the Bible will convince you.
