I posted, back on the SPC days, about how brain damage is a cumulative effect that begins by destroying your most recent memories and works backwards. I think Ralphs ability to produce and retain current memories is just flat out gone. But it is like he halted the backwards destruction right at the point he was at his peak. He doesn't even need to remember what is happening at this moment. He just channels old Ralph and looks at a cheat sheet to know what current Ralph's enemies are doing and saying and turns that into hate and life ruination.

Ralph has solved brain damage, to the detriment of child molesters and test tube spics.
