As far as I understand, it's circumstantial. If you're using weed to suppress discomfort or to numb feelings then you're more likely to find it addictive/have withdrawals as you are using it as a cope. Though with weed the withdrawals are usually psychological (as opposed to physical withdrawals from many harder drugs).
If your life is otherwise generally pretty good and you just enhance those feelings with weed then it is unlikely that you have any addictive traits toward it. It's a question of "what is the root cause of addiction" generally despair, loneliness or perceived hopelessness (to grossly oversimplify the topic).
