i want to see one of these again. A “ volks wagen” or “peoples car”.
A simple, mass produced car, repairable in its entirety by one person.
Lets just do it without the psychotic mass murdering dictator this time.

That would be great!
That is likely impossible in the US with the bs emissions regulations. 😠
impossible is a victim word.
one that supports the status quo.
True. How do you envision affordable and fixable cars be sold in the US. I think they are still sold in other parts of the world. Until these regulations are removed, it is not going to happen.
its an interesting path to navigate. if i were going to try to tackle it, is probably start by talking to people who have some experience with it to see if loopholes and un charted paths exist.
Your descendants will die from cancer or be killed in the water wars because you opposed environmental regulations. Hope the car is worth it
I oppose dumb carbon emissions based on faulty studies and censored opposition. I am okay with actual environmental regulations preventing water pollution, ect...
I miss my 1992 Honda civic that a few friends and I could pick up and carry by hand. The engine was simple, the windows hand-cranked, gas mileage was good, I knew I could drive to the mountains of Montana on one tank.
It’s still out there somewhere at 250K+ miles. It had the unfortunate attribute of being desirable to thieves. It was recovered three times(!)
It was like a bulbasaur to me.

i had one of those. the wagon version. such a great little car.
This post touched my soul...
