Barefoot ๐Ÿ’ฏ the way.

Will never forget I was about 21 setting off on a hike with a friend, putting on my hiking boots and he says, why you doing that?

I say, cos we're going hiking.

He says, yea, so why you doing that?

The penny dropped, been barefoot ever since (except for city streets ofc, tho even did that for a time ๐Ÿ˜‚)

Itโ€™s funny you mentioned hiking boots. A few years ago I had a similar type of boot, construction boots, that I thought I needed for work. 3 weeks and they destroyed my feet. This weekend I saw them gathering dust so theyโ€™re on offer up right now ๐Ÿ˜‚

Absolutely, back when I was a kid running through the grass and woods barefoot felt great and my feet were so strong. As I've gotten older I've had to do so much work to get back to the foot strength I had naturally as a kid.

On top of barefoot shoes and walking, yoga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu have made my feet substantially stronger.
