Unpopular opinion..

It is 100x times more likely that Bitcoin would have already failed, should Satoshi have stayed around.

Everyone’s a scammer, and Bitcoin benefits greatly from having no single owner or “project manager”. nostr:note18px8ez6dl6n78cqwrveca7csyva979w7stu3lq6r3003m8xm8m2s6a59mf

I haven’t seen him in a while. I think he took a break. Maybe a month ago

What changes for the rules running on distributed nodes if Satoshi is around or isn't?

Many “rules” have changed in the Bitcoin protocol and node software over the years.

Satoshi himself made a lot of hard and fast changes in the early days, most of which were necessary for an early stage software project.

But now he’s gone, we all have a to debate and win hearts and minds before making critical changes. This is a good thing.
