Yes. Both are amazing for different reasons. Horse is good for lighter application areas where nutrients are more plentiful.

Chicken is higher in nutrients but can burn & damage if its not applied properly / composted

Is there a way to determine how much nutrients are in the soil?

Ppm (parts per million) meter

Soil tests, you can get them online I have one from Amazon.. Have yet to actually try it out

I have a ppm wand.

Used it to test my old hydro set up.

Can I use that? How?

Make a diet slushie with some water

Thank you!

You need a ph meter as well. You want it between 6-7 . Unless you want a high calcium uptake for cell division. You would want liquid bone meal and then the pH is 7-7.5. You will also need microbes for better uptake in that situation.

Woah Sergio dropping the knowledge. I didn't know you are a gardening pro… are you mono cropping?

I used to grow a lot of weed 🤷‍♂️

Yup mono cropper lol

Any suggestions on a good ph meter?

Mine shit out on me n only read 4.8 in anything now lol

Oh man, they are a bunch. I can't remember the brand of the to of my head.

I’m looking at a few made by the same company as the wand rn…
